The connections we make between youth and a mentor and the connections we have with our supporters gives us much to be grateful for this time of year. Connection to our community is key to feeling hopeful about the future.
This year, we are on target to make over 130 NEW matches in addition to supporting the many matches we have already made in the past. That is up from just 102 new matches last year. Thank you to our volunteers that have said, “I can give 4 hours of my time per month to help a child.” With the aftermath of the pandemic still lingering, we have experienced some ups and downs with volunteers inquiring about being a mentor.
You may think it isn’t safe, you don’t have the time, or you won’t know what to say to help a child. As a mentor, YOU are the gift – “if you are brave enough to BE it.” Plus, our trained staff is here to help you every step of the way!
Please help us spread the word that mentoring is fun, flexible, and safe.

We are grateful for our mentors donating over 22,000 hours of their time this year to shape the lives of NH youth.
We are in the middle of our Thankful Giving Campaign this month and next month marks National Mentoring Month. Thank you to those who have supported mentoring and donated to honor the mentor(s) in their life. To keep our services free to all, this campaign funds making matches and supporting them through ongoing coaching, training, and guidance for the duration of the match. Your donation also supports our ongoing child protection protocols that include training, layered background checks, etc., to ensure that youth served in our program are safe and have the necessary resources to succeed.
From our dedicated Board of Directors and team – we wish you a very Happy Holiday Season and New Year!
With gratitude,
Stacy W. Kramer, CEO
