We just wrapped up National Mentoring Month, which included a trip to Washington, DC for Capital Hill Day to meet with legislators about the power of mentoring. I had the privilege to represent BBBSNH and advocate for youth mentoring.
The clocks aren’t the only thing springing forward right now – things are picking up here at BBBSNH!
We have been busy making new matches, offering our Bigs a networking group (if you are a Big and are interested in joining let your Match Support Specialist know during your check-in), and offering Match Activities like the ones pictured below where matches can connect, learn and have fun!
We are grateful to be making progress and building upon our strategic goals such as creating more quality mentoring matches and sharing our story in a way that is more impactful. Did you hear that we were able to make 27 more matches last year than the year before? Please reply back and let me know of a story about your match or your experience with mentoring!
Our Bigs of the Year have been announced and we are so proud to honor them! Check out our Bigs of the Year Blog on our website to learn more about their stories.
Our progress would not be possible without you, our village. Your unwavering support of our mission continues to make a life-changing impact on youth across New Hampshire and beyond.
Happy spring,
Stacy
